JDJ's initial need was to migrate a new site that was configured and hosted on a different server to their live environment. In the initial process, I noticed that the code was severely outdated. It appeared that the previous developer developed the site with an off-the-shelf coding software that produced code strictly in tables. The site was not responsive and had several UX and UI issues.

Rather than just migrate the new site over to the current environment, I approached my direct contact and discussed my concerns. I pointed out the issues with the site as well as the code. I then proceeded to offer several alternatives, including a modernization of the current design and a new option altogether with a new responsive UX and UI design. They opted for the new option.
